Julie Howell began her career with Octagon in February 2005 working in the sampling/sales division for Marketing North America (MNA). She then transitioned to the Corporate Events & Hospitality Division working on the Merrill Lynch SKINS Game, Lexus Champions for Charity event, ACE Group Classic, Sybase Classic, HSBC Women's World Match Play, Merrill Lynch Shootout, and smaller Merrill Lynch Corporate golf outings.
In July 2006, Julie began working for the Global Events Division of Octagon, making the switch from MNA to Athletes & Personalities (A&P). This new role included working on The Pond at Bryant Park, The Sybase Classic, and Chris Paul's Winston-Salem Weekend charity event.
Julie graduated from the University of Denver in 2004 as a Marketing major/Economics minor with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. While at Denver, she played varsity lacrosse. She is currently based in the NYC office.
