Global Events
A sports marketing veteran working in the industry since the early 1990's, Jeff Kleiber started with Octagon in 2003. Jeff has transitioned into the Senior Vice President for Global Events and his responsibilities include Executive Director of the Champions Tour event's the ACE Group Classic and the SAS Championship, as well as the Nationwide Tour's Rex Hospital Open. Jeff also oversees the marketing & communications efforts for all of Octagon’s global events.
Jeff grew up outside Milwaukee and graduated from Miami University. While at Miami, he got his first taste of golf management working on the Nike Tour’s Miami Valley Open. From there, Jeff worked for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for seven years working on the Comfort Classic at the Brickyard – a Senior PGA TOUR event, Indy FanFest – an interactive fan event during the Indianapolis 500, and Indy 200 at Walt Disney World – an Indy Racing League event. In 2000, Jeff was named tournament director for Kansas City’s Senior PGA TOUR event.
