Global Events
Chris Higgs oversees the management and marketing of Octagon's global events division. He joined Octagon in May 2009 after spending seven years as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of the LPGA Tour. From 1990 to 2001, Higgs was the President and Chief Operating Officer for Executive Sports International, managing the sports marketing enterprise of Jack Nicklaus and Golden Bear International. Higgs also spent time as a Tournament Director while with ESI. He began his marketing career as an IBM Marketing Executive in Kingston, Jamaica. Since then, he has gained 24 years of experience in the golf and sports industry, consulting events and sponsors on six continents, including managing or directing over 120 LPGA, PGA and Champions Tour events.
Higgs currently resides in Daytona Beach, FL.
